In this Newsletter:

Whew! It's been a tough month but we are gradually settling in to our new home and are glad to see many familiar faces pay us a visit. There are still quite a few of you who haven't been to the new shop and we hope you will stop by soon and see what we have to offer. Recently we found a great new local supplier of amazing coral, inverts and fish - Space Coast Corals. With such a quality, close supply of livestock we will be able to bring fresh new specimens on a frequent basis...and special order fish will be even easier for us to obtain for you!

We have also secured a new supplier for tank-raised clowns, dottybacks and blennies. One of the newest items is a Pearl Eyed Clarkii clown - very different!

Coral Propagation In The Aquarium

Reef aquariums are common in the hobby nowadays. With the increased knowledge of their environmental needs and the ability, with the assistance of technology, to maintain the reefs for long periods, the days of struggling with maintenance should be gone.

Some problems have arisen with the ability to maintain such excellent aquarium conditions and the import of coral rocks and specific live rock. One that springs to mind is aiptasia anemones, the weeds of the aquarium. In addition, with long term success coral growth could cause difficulties.
